Pentahold joins Kempen company Advipro

6 July 2018 - De Tijd

The investment company must support the 15-year-old company financially and strategically.

Pentahold, an investment company behind which entrepreneurs such as Filip Balcaen (ex-Balta), Philippe Vlerick (UCO) and Paul Thiers (ex-Unilin) are hidden, has acquired a new stake. It concerns the company Advipro from Lille.

The 15-year-old company, which also has a branch in Willebroek, specializes in project support in the (bio)pharmaceutical, medical and high-tech industry. The company employs approximately 80 highly trained specialists. The turnover is not immediately known.

Advipro was founded by CEO Peter Scheyltjens and his wife Kristel Patteet. “In recent years, we have systematically grown by more than 25 percent per year. In order to perpetuate this growth and support new initiatives, we looked for a partner who could support us not only financially, but also strategically. We found this support at Pentahold’, says Scheyltjens in a press release from Advipro.

Pentahold partner Geert Vanderstappen calls Advipro a company with ‘great ambitions and many ideas’. For example, it recently opened a training center where specific training can be given in real cleanrooms. The company also moved to the Netherlands.

Scheyltjens and his wife will continue to lead Advipro.
